The Town Center community is preparing for the upcoming Village Elections on April 25th. Once again, residents interested in the workings and future of our Village are invited to explore serving on the board as a way to be involved in the community. Over the years, we have prided ourselves on being a welcoming, collegial board that encourages resident involvement from all areas of our Village. If you are interested in running for the board or volunteering, keep reading for some more information.

April 25: Election Day*
If there are fewer or equal candidates for the Village Board or Columbia Council than there are Board seats, there will be no election, and all candidates will be deemed elected per TCCA’s By-Laws. In that case, there will not be a Candidates’ Forum, and an election will not be held on April 25.*
Volunteering for the Village Board
Town Center is also looking for Election Committee volunteers for the 2026 Village Elections. The Columbia Association Town Center Representative seat is up for election, along with several Village Board seats.
Qualifications:
- Must be residents of Town Center in your primary, tax-paying residence.
- Must not be a current Town Center Village Board member of any type (Village or CA Rep).
Residents eligible to vote are encouraged to serve, but committee members may not run for office or campaign for or against any candidate.
This very short-term commitment runs from January through the certification of election results on April 26. Committee responsibilities include reviewing the election packet prepared by the Village Manager, organizing a Candidates’ Forum (if the election is contested), and assisting on election day.
